white out

Sometimes, you get abnormally warm weather at the end of November - so you throw on some white jeans, your new cream vest, and go parading around like its August.

lady in red

Besides all black, my next favorite look to wear is all red. There's just something so striking about the color, especially once the weather gets cooler (and you just so happen to match the leaves). I made sure to keep all my accessories low-key (aka nonexistent) as to not distract from the color story. I added the color block coat from J.Crew that has a splash of red in it to keep it cohesive. Threw on some red shoes and a red bag, and viola!

varsity

Guys... I'm not going to lie. I didn't really take my dog Britt for a walk in this outfit.. she just happened to match it. Sue me!

When I saw this sweater at H&M, I immediately thought of the very popular and completely sold out Rag & Bone sweater from a few months back (that I loved but not enough to shell out $400 for). I picked it up and paired it with my trusty Lovestory flares - because is there anything better than channeling the 70s in a varsity inspired sweater and some bellbottoms?  Nah.

fall

To say I love these jeans would be an understatement - I've (embarrassingly but admittedly) been living in them since I bought them and I can't say I'm ashamed. I feel like they're just the right amount of distressed without looking like I got caught by Edward Scissorhands. But more than that, they are incredibly comfortable. The key to keeping them from looking sloppy is to stay polished with the rest of your pieces. Pairing them with my Chanel boots (which I've also been living in #costperwearforthewin) makes it feel like they're all one piece - the jeans flow effortlessly onto the booties in the most perfect way. I kept the look casual with my other leather jacket (the hood lends a laid back vibe) and my Chanel bag (which you've seen in these other posts styled as a clutch). I'm all about versatility in pieces I invest it.
